This guide explains how launch times usually work, how to convert times to your own time zone and how to use pre-loading to be ready at the first possible moment. What Has Been Confirmed
Rockstar has confirmed the date, November 19, 2026. It also announced that pre-orders opened at midnight local time in June 2026, and published reports say pre-loading begins on November 12, 2026. We have not found an official statement of the exact worldwide unlock time on release day. Until that appears, anything you see on social media about a precise hour is unverified.
Two Common Unlock Methods
- Midnight local time: The game unlocks at 12:00 a.m. on November 19 in each time zone. Players in New Zealand or Asia would get it first, followed by Europe and then the Americas.
- Single global moment: The game unlocks at one fixed time for the whole world, such as a specific time in Eastern Time. For players in Asia, that could mean a late-night or early-morning start.
