About Us

Welcome to grandtheftauto6releasedate.com, an independent, fan-run resource dedicated to Grand Theft Auto VI. We created this website because the run-up to a huge game launch is full of confusion: outdated dates, copied articles, fake leaks and hype pages that never tell you where information comes from. Our goal is to be the place you can check quickly and trust.

What We Cover

  • Release date and launch: the current date, delay history, pre-order details, pre-load information and a countdown.
  • Price and editions: what has been announced and how to avoid overpaying.
  • Hardware: console preparation and clearly labeled estimates for PC and laptops.
  • Game information: story, characters, map, gameplay features, trailers and online questions.
  • News: concise, verified updates.

Our Mission

We want to help fans make good decisions and avoid misinformation. Many visitors arrive with practical questions: When can I play? How much will it cost? Do I need to upgrade? Is this rumor true? We try to answer each of these in plain language with a clear distinction between confirmed facts, reasonable estimates and speculation.

How We Work

Our process is simple. We start with official sources: Rockstar Games, Take-Two Interactive and the platform stores. We then cross-check reporting from established gaming and business outlets. We write articles in our own words, add a “last updated” date and revise pages when facts change. When we make estimates, such as PC requirements, we explain how we reached them and label them as estimates. You can read more in our editorial policy.

Who Is Behind the Site

The site is created by a small independent team of gaming enthusiasts and web publishers who follow the Grand Theft Auto series. We are not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive, and we do not have inside access to the developers. Everything we publish is based on public information.

Why Independence Matters

Being independent means we can say clearly when something is unconfirmed, when a price seems high, or when a rumor is probably false. It also means that we have to be careful, because we do not have private confirmation of facts. This is why we always point you to official channels for purchases and critical details.

How the Site Is Funded

We cover our costs through advertising and, in some cases, affiliate links to retailers. This income allows us to keep the website free. It does not change our coverage, and we do not accept payment to publish favorable content. See our disclaimer for details.

Our Values

  • Accuracy first. We would rather publish late than publish wrong.
  • Transparency. We show our sources and update dates.
  • Respect for creators. We credit sources and respect copyright.
  • Respect for readers. We avoid clickbait and keep pages easy to read.
  • Safety. We warn readers about scams and fake downloads.

Thank You

Thanks for visiting. Whether you are counting down the days to launch or simply curious about the biggest game of the decade, we hope this site makes the wait a little easier. Explore the release date hub, the system requirements hub and the game guide to get started.

What You Will Not Find Here

We do not publish invented leaks, fake release dates or downloads. We do not claim to speak for Rockstar Games. We do not hide advertising or affiliate relationships. And we do not stuff pages with irrelevant keywords to trick search engines. If you ever feel that a page on this site has fallen short of these promises, tell us.

Looking Ahead

After launch, we plan to expand into practical guides: tips for beginners, settings advice, vehicle and weapon information and explanations of in-game systems, all based on what players can verify in the finished game. We will also keep our hardware pages current and replace estimates with official data as soon as it exists. If there is something specific you would like to see, our contact page is open.

How You Can Support the Site

The best support is simple: share accurate pages with friends instead of rumors, report mistakes and tell us what is missing. If you run a gaming community or a channel and want to link to our guides, you are welcome to do so. Linking to our release date, price or requirements pages helps your audience find clear answers, and we update those pages whenever new official information is published. Please do not copy our articles in full, but quoting a few lines with a link back is fine.
